Experience and Track Record of the General Partners
The Partners have extensive experience in all aspects of Private Equity investing including restructuring, recapitalization, buy-outs, work-outs, mergers and acquisitions, liquidations, valuations, and Structured Equity and Debt financing. This combination of viewpoints provides the comprehensive insights required to evaluate investments from both a debt and equity perspective while working closely with management, who are owners and not employees, to create shareholder value. The Partners have over 65 years of combined investment experience and have built an impressive track record of performance.

Focus on Adding Value to Portfolio Companies
The Fund will primarily act as lead investor to its portfolio companies and The Partners will work in close partnership with management. While the complex process of value creation requires a different approach to each situation, The Partners will typically partner with entrepreneurs to:

• Continuously review the strategic direction of the company;
• Develop management reporting systems to improve monitoring of the key metrics associated with creating shareholder value;
• Allocate capital expenditures;
• Manage working capital;
• Negotiate with customers, creditors and suppliers as needed;
• Evaluate and implement incentive compensation programs for key senior executives;
• Improve productivity through business process reengineering;
• Source and execute add-on acquisitions; and
• Position the company for realization.

The Partners have broad networks of seasoned operating managers and, where appropriate, will insert key executives into a portfolio company or appoint a board member whose extensive experience complements the existing management team.
